Lesson 2: Channels

Students need to understand the definition of distribution channels and understand direct vs indirect. Students will identify which channels are realistic to choose, and then prioritize.

Required Outcomes

  • Students will create a channel brief that outlines how their product will get from company to customers.
  • Students will pick a sales channel that represents the greatest potential and focus on it for learning.

Create a copy of the the Channel Map – Google Slide Template, and build a Channel Map to demonstrate how your product/service will get from your company to your customer. See example below:
